New distributor for cachaça expects Brazilian buzz

Boca Loca cachacaDistribution for Boca Loca Cachaça in the UK has been taken over by Instil Drinks Co which expects increased interest in Brazilian products because of the World Cup and the Olympics.

The brand will be promoted for its smoothness and its fruity flavour as well as its mixability in “innovative cocktails with an edge”, according to Nick Rodgers, head of Instil Drinks Co.

“Boca Loca, meaning ‘crazy lips’, is an incredible fit to our portfolio as the liquid offers exceptional quality at a competitive price,” he said.

“With the World Cup, Olympics and tremendous economic growth knocking on Brazil’s door, we should expect to see Brazilian culture and passion at the height of consumer awareness and campaigns throughout the UK in 2014.”

Boca Loca is slightly aged in jequitibá barrels and then passed through a high-quality charcoal-based filter, resulting in a smooth, full-bodied and fragrant finish.

“Mixability is what sets Boca Loca aside from other cachaças,” Nick added. “Not only is it smooth in Caipirinhas, but its dynamic, fruity flavour enables you to create innovative cocktails with an edge.”

It joins other spirits, liqueurs and beers in the Instil Drinks Co portfolio which also includes Crystal Head vodka, Plantation rums, Citadelle gin, Pierre Ferrand Cognac, Cooper’s pale ale and 10 Saint’s Oak Aged Lager.
