New dressings add A Little Bit extra to dishes

A new range of dressings made with wholesome ingredients are to be launched in April for adding natural flavour to salads and other dishes.

The new brand, A Little Bit, has been founded by Sophie Lane Fox who was inspired by the fresh herbs she used from her garden when cooking at home.

Initially available in four flavours, the range will be launched at the Farm Shop & Deli Show which runs at NEC Birmingham from April 18 to 20.

Red Onion and Parsley is described as ideal for drizzling over couscous, rice or a crispy salad, while the warming and fragrant Balsamic and Thyme is not just good for salads but can be used as a marinade for meat, poultry and roasted vegetables.

Raspberry and Mint captures the essence of summer fruits with sweet, menthol undertones, ideal with prawns, burgers or a chicken sandwich. Lemon and Tarragon is a classic refreshing pairing that can be trickled over new potatoes, green beans or a lentil and feta salad.

Sophie said: “I’ve always been fortunate to have a bountiful supply of fresh herbs outside my back door which has lent itself to all manner of experimentation.

“Herbs have so many incredible properties and I really wanted to convey that using these plants in healthy eating dressings and sauces could be tasty and fun. Herbs can transform the simplest dishes into something spectacular.

“The dressings are the first stage and I’m looking forward to seeing people’s reactions at Farm Shop & Deli.”
