New hot variant launched for beetroot ketchup

The creators of The Foraging Fox’s alternative Beetroot Ketchup have unveiled a new variant with a chilli and horseradish kick.

Business partners Frankie Fox and Desiree Parker have developed Hot Beetroot Ketchup which will be launched at this year’s Farm Shop & Deli Show from April 18 to 20 at NEC in Birmingham.

The subtle chilli-infused beetroot combines with the earthy warmth of horseradish, resulting in a complex and sophisticated flavour that will bring gentle heat rather than “blow your socks off”.

As well as being packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, it complements barbecue food and makes an excellent base for a zingy Bloody Mary. The Foraging Fox’s ketchups are also certified gluten free and are Vegetarian Society approved.

It follows the launch in 2014 of The Foraging Fox ketchup which is made with sweet beetroot and apples together with a mix of spices.
