Following on from its Old Spitalfields Market launch last year, Italian wine bar Bottles is venturing into west London with the opening of a new site on Draycott Avenue.
Unlike its sister venues, which are designed with an industrial and rustic aesthetic, the new Chelsea site is the “light and airy counterpart”.
The space features a glass-fronted 50-cover wine bar with a bespoke timber wine wall, a white and blue tiled drinking and dining area set beneath a central skylight and a “clandestine” dining room downstairs for private dinners and Italian supper clubs
Bottle’s extensive wine list offers an ever-changing range of styles, regions and indigenous grapes while also focusing on micro-producers in natural, biodynamic and organic wines. The menu has been designed to be concise and approachable while in-house sommeliers are on hand to make bespoke recommendations.
The food offering at Bottles centres around Italian small plates alongside more substantial dishes of pasta, seafood and meat. Fresh juices, classic cocktails and an aperitivo menu influenced by classic Italian tipples is also available.
