New look for Tanqueray No Ten comes to UK

Tanqueray No TENA new bottle design for Tanqueray No Ten gin is to be introduced into the UK market highlighting its unique recipe of botanicals.

The bottle celebrates the spirit’s 10 botanicals, including whole fresh oranges, grapefruits and limes, through 10 elegant facets that flow down the green bottle and meet at the base in the shape of a citrus fruit squeezer.

The stylish bottle shape illustrates the streamlined glamour of the Art Deco period and the “golden era” of cocktails. The glass is also a lighter green than before.

The Tanqueray scarlet seal and founder Charles Tanqueray’s signature serve as a stamp of approval to emphasise the gin’s superior quality.

Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve Brands GB, said: “In the UK, demand for luxury drinks brands with heritage is driving gin category growth. Tanqueray has a fabulous British heritage and the new Tanqueray No Ten bottle design has a distinctively Art Deco, vintage feel which will appeal to bartenders and consumers alike.

“This new bottle design is inspired by the unique fresh citrus element of the brand, whilst the stylish contouring and lighter glass really allows the liquid to shine through.”

The new Tanqueray No Ten bottle, which was launched in the US in February, will be available in the UK from May 2014 through the brand’s current regional and national suppliers.
