New marketing director for Revolution bar operator

Beth McDonald

The New Inventive Bar Company, which operates Revolution and Revoluciòn De Cuba bars, has appointed Beth McDonald (pictured) as director of marketing and communications.

Her background ranges from licensed retailing with the Spirit Pub Company, working on brands such as Chef & Brewer, to the fashion industry with Arcadia, including BHS.

She takes over responsibilities previously carried out by Revolution bars’ co-founder Neil Macleod who left the business last year. Her remit is to use creative, cutting-edge marketing techniques and initiatives to reach existing and new customers for the bars.

Mark McQuater, chief executive of The New Inventive Bar Company, said: “Her appointment represents a significant commitment by the business to further grow our position in the marketplace with the use of innovative, thought-leading, marketing and communication strategies to reach our key target audience.

“I’m really looking forward to welcoming Beth to the team. She is a high-energy, creative and intelligent individual who will be an inspiring and knowledgeable addition to our team.”
