A new trade show for the north-west’s bar, restaurant and café sector is to make its debut in Liverpool this autumn.

Taking place on October 13, Barcode Expo has been launched by SK Events and PR, organisers of the annual Liverpool Food & Drink Festival,

It will bring together more than 70 exhibitors from across the industry alongside other features including a seminar programme with industry experts.

There will also be a tasting theatre, networking events, sampling opportunities, a demonstration area, a spirit zone, and a cocktail flaring bar.

Barcode Expo will take place in Camp and Furnace (pictured), the destination for culture, drinking and dining in Liverpool’s Baltic Quarter. Its launch follows a wave of new bars, restaurants and cafés in the city.

Denise Harris, director at SK Events and PR, said: “After eight years organising the premier Liverpool Food and Drink Festival in the city, regularly attracting over 45,000 visitors, we felt it was time to leverage our expertise to create an industry-focused event to bring together suppliers to the industry with their target audience and our key clients.”

Barcode Expo will offer exhibitors an opportunity to increase brand exposure, expand their customer base, meet key decision makers and raise their profile in the north-west.
