The final list of nominees has been announced today for the 2014 Late Night Awards by the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR).

Operators across the UK have reached the shortlist ahead of the announcement of the winners at the ALMR’s second annual Dusk ‘til Dawn ceremony on September 14 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

ALMR strategic affairs director Kate Nicholls said: “Congratulations to all the nominees who have made the shortlist for this year’s awards. The variety and the sheer number of nominations we received this year has been very impressive.

“In many cases we have seen up to 30 different retailers being nominated per category and all the final nominees should all be incredibly proud.

“The diversity and the range of different offers and operating styles found amongst the nominees is testament to the fantastic innovation being shown by licensed hospitality right across the UK.

“The late-night sector is one of the country’s most dynamic and exciting right now and the proof is right there in the list of nominees.

“We are all, at the ALMR, very much looking forward to honouring the best the business has to offer and celebrating another fantastic year for late-night hospitality.”

The ALMR represents the interests of the UK’s pub, club, bar and casual dining operators, who together run 14,000 outlets and employ over 350,000 people.
