The nominees have been announced in the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers’ annual awards for late-night bars and clubs.
The ALMR’s Late Night Awards are now open for people in the industry to vote for their top nominees before a judging panel makes the final decisions.
The panel includes Kate Nicholls, chief executive of the ALMR, Michael Troy of Matthew Clark, Dean Ince of Molson Coors, Jerry Shedden from Bacardi, Jamal Hirani from Orderella, Olivia Fitzgerald from LiveRes, Dan Davies of CPL Training, Craig Brew of Nicoccino, and Phil Tate of CGA Strategy.
The winners will be announced at this year’s Dusk ‘til Dawn ceremony on October 27 at Cafe de Paris in London. It follows the ALMR’s Bar & Nightclub Conference in the afternoon.
Kate said: “This year’s nominees are the strongest group yet and we have been overwhelmed by the number of responses. We are seeing nominations from across a broad spectrum of businesses, highlighting what a fantastically varied sector and exciting time this is.
“The ALMR’s Late Night Awards are judged by both a panel of industry leaders and peers making them the most comprehensive awards of their kind. We are all very much looking forward to the final stages of the judging process and honouring the businesses that are at the cutting edge of the late-night economy.”
