Norwegian gin appoints importer for UK launch

Bareksten Gin

A Norwegian gin made with botanicals including wild blueberries, lingonberries, rhubarb, elderflower and mint is being released in the UK.

Drinks specialist JBE Imports has become exclusive importer of the award-winning Bareksten Gin, which is inspired by the dramatic and scenic nature of Norway’s west coast. It is made by Stig Bareksten, a former bartender, at his Oss Craft Distillery in Bergen.

Available in 70cl bottles at 46% ABV, it is distilled in small batches to accentuate its character and fruity expression. The wild blueberries, lingonberries, rhubarb, elderflower, mint and juniper are among 25 botanicals used in its production.

It joins Isfjord Gin and Vodka, Ms Betters Bitters, Cubay Rum and Skin Gin in the JBE Imports portfolio.
