Quintessential Brands’ spiced gin brand Opihr has launched three new Regional Editions, each created using flavours inspired by key locations along the ancient spice route.
The new expressions – the European Edition, Arabian Edition and Far East Edition – contain “on-trend ingredients” from the global culinary world that are specific to each region.
Opihr European Edition sees cascarilla bark mixed with fragrant myrrh to create an “aromatic” and “fragrant” gin, while the Arabian Edition blends black lemon and timut pepper for an “intense citrus and spice-led” expression.
The final variant, Opihr Far East Edition, combines rich flavours of szechuan pepper and smoky ajwain to create an “intense, warm mouthfeel”.
The Opihr Regional Editions, available to order in 1L, 70cl and 5cl formats, join the original Ophir Gin, which launched in 2012.
To celebrate the launch of the Regional Editions, Opihr has created a number of signature serves for each expression.
