Opium Cocktail & Dim Sum Parlour seeks bartender


Opium Cocktail & Dim Sum Parlour in London’s West End is recruiting for a full-time bartender to join our team.

About you
The successful candidate will have a great love and knowledge for classic and contemporary cocktails and drinking culture, but most importantly will be passionate about providing great service and looking after our guests.

A big smile, stylish dress-sense and impeccable manners are mandatory. You will have 1-3 years experience working in internationally known cocktail bars and be looking for a new challenge.
We expect our bartenders to have an excellent command of the English language and naturally to have all the requirements to work in the UK. A love of Chinese food and culture is a huge plus.

About us
After a year spent searching for a space in which to open a cocktail bar, Eric Yu and Dre Masso opened Opium in December 2012. When they came across the unique space that is number 16, Gerrard Street it was love at first sight.
Situated in the heart of Chinatown, the three floored, multi-roomed venue allowed Eric and Dre to create the unique Bartender’s Table, situated in The Academy, The Apothecary Bar, where spirits are dispensed into Chinese medicine bottles, and The Tea Parlour where they showcase their love for Chinese Teas and Dim Sum.

OTE approx £28-30,000/annum including service, based on 5 shifts a week.
28 days paid holiday per year
