Opium nightclub hits London’s West End

Spanish nightclub and restaurant chain Opium has opened a new venue in the heart of London’s West End.

Following its success in Madrid, Marbella, and Barcelona, Opium London presents the brand’s first international venue.

The fourth addition to the collection is set to play host to the world’s leading DJs and music acts, with an exciting line-up planned for the summer season.

At Opium’s launch party, which took place earlier this month, guests enjoyed prosecco-based cocktails with a sprinkling of sugar and hints of Japanese-inspired lychee alongside sushi and an array of Spanish and Pan-Asian inspired canapés and small plates.

Belvedere Vodka was the order of the night throughout the entire venue as guests danced to the sounds of Opium’s resident DJs, surrounded by flame-throwers and LED dancers.

Those in attendance witnessed Opium’s restaurant interiors, such give a nod to the brand’s Spanish roots, featuring bespoke floral wallpaper designed and created in Spain and a striking gold mirrored ceiling.

Since its opening, Opium London has welcomed VIP guests including Nicki Minaj, Drake, Roxy Horner, Jennifer McKing, John Galea and Will Manning.
