Orangina adds lower-calorie version in on-trade

Orangina Light on-trade

A lower-calorie version of Orangina has been launched exclusively in the on-trade for the first time, coming in its iconic bulb-shaped bottle.

In a 250ml glass bottle, Orangina Light has the same real orange taste, zesty aroma and sparkle as the core product which was relaunched in the on-trade in June last year.

It will help licensees to tap into the strong sales opportunity where 60% of consumers would like to see an increased range of soft drinks targeted at adults in pubs and bars. Dating back to 1936, Orangina is also being used as a mixer and a base for cocktails and mocktails.

Jamie Nascimento, head of marketing for Orangina, said: “We are really excited about the launch of Orangina Light 250ml to the on-trade and, with its classic look, it will sit perfectly in discerning bars, restaurants and cafés.

“We have seen a growing demand from consumers for lighter drinks and we are confident that Orangina Light, with its unmistakably unique flavour will set taste buds alight.

“It’s the perfect accompaniment for lunch this summer, poured over a glass of ice and served with a twist of orange peel.”
