Continental Wine and Food (CWF) has extended the Perfetto Gin range with a new flavour, made with lemons from the Sorrento coast.
Perfetto “celebrates the true taste and style of Italy”. The lemon-infused variant boasts a “natural aroma”, with essential oils bringing out the sweet citrus.
Before being infused with lemons, the gin is distilled using a classic ‘steep and boil’ technique, which lasts one week in total to ensure full flavours of the juniper berries, angelica roots and coriander seeds are extracted.
The new gin is suggested served with tonic, lots of ice and a wheel of lemon. Additionally, it can be crafted into cocktails, including the Perfetto Mojito.
The lemon variant joins Perfetto’s Blood Orange and Grapefruit flavours. Perfetto glassware is currently available for on-trade customers.
