Peroni brings cocktails and new bottle to summer bar

Terrace Peroni Skylounge

Beer cocktails will feature as part of a new Peroni bar due to pop up this summer on the outdoor terrace of London rooftop bar Skylounge.

The stylish residency will offer cocktails made with Peroni Nastro Azzurro such as Peroni Alla Moda, which mixes the beer with vodka, Aperol, and rhubarb and vanilla jam.

Operating alongside Cuervo’s Cantina from Jose Cuervo tequila, the Peroni bar opens on July 3 and will run to October, open from 11am daily until midnight.

To accompany the cocktails, Skylounge will also offer an Italian platter with baked figs with gorgonzola, golden fried Mozarella and prosciutto, mushroom and onion bruschetta and mortadella and black olive.

The Peroni Bar will also see one of the first outings for Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s new 250ml Piccola bottles which were launched on May 1.

Skylounge, which is on the 12th floor of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Tower Hill, has renovated its entire South Terrace in time for the summer, with a premium look by leading Italian design house Myyour.

Emulating the sleek and modern design previously showcased at The House of Peroni pop-ups, the new Peroni Bar celebrates the Italian spirit of creativity, with an illuminated Baraonda Bar (pictured), a visually striking Biaggio feature wall and modern furniture under angular kite parasols.

A bookable VIP seated area is also housed on the far side of the terrace for exclusive parties and celebrations.
