Belgian-based gourmet pastry producer Pidy is expanding its Trendy range with the launch of a large chocolate variety.
Available in three shapes including triangle, square and circular, the chocolate Trendy Shells are designed to offer flexibility and greater choice for foodservice applications.
The new larger Trendy case is made from Pidy’s traditional sweet, shortcrust pastry recipe with the addition of cocoa powder to add “an extra element of something different”.
As with the other products in this range, its cases are versatile and ready to fill, featuring a modern straight sided design coupled with a rich chocolate flavour.
Designed with foodservice specialists in mind, the pastry is robust and holds shape once filled, while the subtly enriched chocolate flavour complements many different fillings and flavours.
The Trendy Shell Triangle is available in 96 pieces and both the Trendy Shell Square and Trendy Shell Round are available in both 36 and 96 pieces.
Pidy’s Trendy Shell is also available as an assortment pack of 36 pieces which includes 12 Trendy Shell Square and 24 Trendy Shell Round.
