A new pint and half-pint glass has been introduced for Heineken beer, with a design to highlight its premium positioning.
Available from this month, the beer’s new glass is taller, with a tactile design including a distinctive, embossed red star above the Heineken logo. The inscription of the global Heineken strapline, “Open Your World”, is on the bottom of each glass.
The design also includes curves in the glass to enhance the way the beer flows from the tap into the glass, creating a smooth, foamy head to lock in the carbonation.
A schooner with the new design will be launched later this year.

“And importantly, the glass doesn’t only look great, it’s been designed to make sure the beer tastes and looks its very best – so consumers know they’re getting an exceptional glass of beer.”
