Continental dairy brand Président has launched single-serve camemberts suitable for individual starters or as part of sharing platters.
Available in 145g boxes of 12, the Petit Camembert has the trademark smooth texture and flavour that develops throughout its life from clean and fresh when young to creamy and rounded when mature.
It can be served with a baguette but also lends itself particularly well to being baked. Président has teamed up with chef Paul Morgan to develop and trial a number of different starter recipes using the Petit Camembert. Ideas can be found at www.lactalisfs.co.uk/president.
“The quality of the Petit Camembert really is excellent”, Paul said. “The taste and texture is everything you’d expect from Président, with the 145g box ideal for starters or small sharing plates.
“This smaller-sized camembert is something I’ve yet to find elsewhere on the market. I’ll definitely be incorporating it into my menu.”
