• Following the success its popular Strawberry flavour in the UK, Puerto de Indias aims to make history again with Puerto de Indias Blackberry
  • The blackberry flavour launches at the perfect time to meet increased consumer demand for autumnal-inspired gin flavours

The Spanish brand Puerto de Indias, pioneers of the pink gin category and #2 flavoured gin brand worldwide, has announced it is expanding its UK gin portfolio by introducing a Blackberry flavour to the UK.

Launching in the UK during London Cocktail Week on the 19th of October, the blackberry flavour has already experienced great success in its local Spanish market and comes at the perfect time to meet increasing demand for autumnal and wintery flavours as we head into the colder months.

In addition to its seasonal appeal, the flavoured gin category continues to show strong growth, up +30% this year compared to 2021.

Laura Noguera, Global Consumer Director of Puerto de Indias, commented: “After years of experience in this constantly evolving sector, we wanted to stay true to our innovative character and create this new flavour. With it, we hope to continue on our journey of revolutionising the way gin is produced and keep delivering on the excellent taste we are known for.”

Craig Chapman, Spokesperson for Puerto de Indias, added: “I’m really excited about bringing the new Blackberry flavour to the UK consumer. Puerto de Indias, with its strawberry gin, is synonymous with flavour, so to be able to build on that with another incredible gin that allows us to broaden our range and offer a more autumnal offering is a great step forwards for the brand. We’re seeing excellent growth this year, and the addition of Blackberry will only help us accelerate even faster.

“Puerto de Indias will be taking the Spanish Spirit over Covent Garden as part of the Little Cocktail Village from the 13th – 23rd of October. We’ll be serving up delicious cocktails as well as giving those in attendance the opportunity to be the first in the UK to taste our new Blackberry gin, which will be available for listings from October 19th.”
