Quaglino’s restaurant in London has transformed its bar area into an indoor garden with Tanqueray Gin.
The Giovanni Gin Garden, running until August 31, features a pergola wrapped with emerald vines, glowing lanterns and elegant fronds of pale lilac wisteria silk hanging from the arches.
Working with installation artists, it also sees twisting natural branches of seasonal jasmine, honeysuckle and passionflower delicately placed among the main dining area.
Quaglino’s, part of D&D London, has teamed up with Tanqueray to curate the garden, which is named after the restaurant’s founder, John “Giovanni” Quaglino.
The brand’s team has crafted a bespoke cocktail menu with drinks such as a Venetian Martini, a Tanqueray & Tonic Mojito, and a Carbonated Strawberry Aviation. The bar also serves the entire gin range including the brand’s super-premium Tanqueray No Ten.
Guests can also try crafting their own cocktail in master classes led by a team of expert bartenders, foraging for ingredients in the indoor garden.
On Saturday August 29, the Giovanni Gin Garden will host an “end of summer” brunch party.
