Leading meat-free brand Quorn has unveiled its latest innovation for 2019: the Quorn Ultimate Burger.
Available to foodservice customers from June, the new thick-cut vegan quarter pounder burger is “succulent” with the juice of beets.
Quorn Ultimate Burger is a source of protein and fibre and, unlike other plant-based burgers, it contains no soy.
Phil Thornborrow, head of foodservice at Quorn, said: “When it comes to eating out, burgers still top the lunchtime charts for a popular choice, but increasingly, our customers are looking for delicious, meat-free options to cater for consumers looking to reduce their meat consumption.
“Quorn Ultimate Burger could be a game changer for out of home food providers looking for simple, delicious ways to offer meat-free alternatives on their menus to maximise appeal and drive sales.
“In addition to grilling as well as a regular burger, Quorn Ultimate Burger is ideal for flame grilling, providing an opportunity – particularly within the pub channel – to maximise summer sales and attract new customers.”
The Quorn Ultimate Burger will be available to foodservice customers in a 2.04kg catering size bag.
