Red Engine has launched its first bespoke house gins across its UK estate of Flight Club and Electric Shuffle venues, developed in partnership with independent distillery The Spirit of Bristol.
The new Flight Club and Electric Shuffle London Dry Gins were created by The Spirit of Bristol’s award-winning Master Distiller, Pete Lumber, working alongside Red Engine’s Bar Masters to develop two distinct liquids designed specifically for each of the brand’s drinks programmes.

The launch marks The Spirit of Bristol’s first collaboration with a global hospitality group and sees each gin rolled out across all Flight Club and Electric Shuffle venues in the UK.
Following several rounds of tasting and recipe development, the team settled on a spice-led London Dry profile for Flight Club, featuring clove, angelica, cardamom and cassia, balanced with lemon and orange peel. For Electric Shuffle, the end result is a citrus-forward gin, led by lemon, lime and orange peel, spiced with coriander, cassia and liquorice.
As well as each gin becoming its respective brand’s house gin, the bespoke spirit has been incorporated into the group’s cocktail menus, including A Little Bit Lychee, which combines the gin with Kwai Feh lychee liqueur, apple and lemon.
Pete Lumber, Master Distiller at The Spirit of Bristol, said: “Working with Flight Club’s Bar Masters meant we could create something specifically for the way the gins would be used behind the bar, rather than simply supplying an existing product.
“We went through a number of tasting and development stages to get the balance right, and I’m hugely proud that two gins created here in Bristol are now being served across Flight Club and Electric Shuffle venues nationwide.”
Dustin Acton, Chief Operating Officer at Flight Club, said: “Launching our first Flight Club and Electric Shuffle gins is an important step for our drinks offer and give us two products that have been developed specifically for our bars.
“Pete’s distilling expertise, combined with the knowledge of our Bar Masters, allowed us to create something distinctive to Flight Club and Electric Shuffle and versatile enough to work both as our house pour and within our cocktail programme.”
