Rekorderlig Cider brings back Spiced Plum for winter

Rekorderlig Spiced Plum 2017

Molson Coors has brought back Rekorderlig Cider’s popular seasonal variant, Rekorderlig Spiced Plum, for a second year.

Fusing pear cider with plums, cherries and a mix of spices including cloves and cinnamon, the limited-edition flavour is available in the UK on-trade now until February.

The 4% ABV liquid, which comes in Rekorderlig’s trademark 500ml bottles, can be enjoyed either hot or cold, with recommended recipes available for each.

New cocktail recipes have been created for Spiced Plum to be served alongside the new product at the pop-up Rekorderlig Cider Lodge at the Southbank Centre’s Wintertime festival that runs on the South Bank in London from Friday (November 10) to January 4.

The product is also being supported by PR, social media and influencer marketing.

Clare Wright, head of cider at brand owner Molson Coors, said: “Rekorderlig has an unparalleled commitment to extending the cider season beyond summer, so we’re thrilled to announce the return of Spiced Plum.”

Spiced Plum was launched in the UK on-trade last year, replacing the brand’s annually released Winter Cider, which first launched in 2009.
