Swedish cider Rekorderlig is to bring back its spiced winter variant, supported by on-trade promotional kits and ideas for hot and cold mixed serves.
Rekorderlig Winter Cider – a spiced apple cider infused with cinnamon and vanilla flavours – will return in October with a new premium urn as part of “Drink Beautifully” kits available to bars and pubs.
The point-of-sale materials, inspired by the brand’s new creative, Silver Skaters, will also feature a new premium teapot for a hot serve developed in partnership with Angostura Bitters.
Rekorderlig’s global brand ambassador Joel Persson has developed other cocktails, both hot and cold, for the cider. It will tie into a social media campaign using the hashtag #hotorcold.
Originally launched as a limited edition in 2009, Rekorderlig Winter Cider can be enjoyed cold over ice or warm with a slice of orange.
Winter Cider will also feature at Rekorderlig’s Winter Lodge pop-up that will return to the Southbank Centre’s Winter Festival from November 20. Last year, it was seen by over one million consumers.
