Relaunch for Nottingham hotel bar after revamp

St James Hotel Nottingham

A hotel bar in Nottingham is set to be relaunched with a new look and new drinks menu.

No/6 Bar inside St James Hotel in Rutland Street in the Castle Quarter will be relaunched in late September after a refurbishment.

Described as “Nottingham’s best-kept secret”, the sumptuous bar will have a new cocktail menu that will be previewed at the launch on September 25.

The hotel’s manager Richard Johal said: “It’s going to be a spectacular night with live music and renowned local artists showcasing their work to inspire, provoke and engage the viewer within our gallery space.

“With wine-tasting and a masterclass of cocktail making it’s going to be a fantastic evening for all our guests.”

The family-run 87-bedroom boutique hotel, formerly the Rutland Square Hotel, was opened last summer and also features conference facilities and an exhibition space.
