An automated marketing system for bars, pubs and restaurants has been relaunched with more features, including some to meet the needs of mobile device users.
New features of the marketing platform, developed by hospitality loyalty scheme experts Explosive Marketing, include communications such as postcards, emails and SMS being triggered automatically.
Christian Peacock, business manager of Explosive Marketing, said: “Over the years, we’ve taken on board what our customers have said and developed a user-friendly platform to meet their demands.
“We now offer a bespoke solution to their marketing needs leaving the decisions up to them. They can choose what campaigns they’d like to run along with a broad selection of designs to choose from.”
Once the loyalty scheme member data is imported, the system looks up the birthday or anniversary dates of the members and sends them automated offers to encourage them to celebrate their special dates at the bar, pub or restaurant.
The content for the offers is pre-written and artwork is professionally designed, so the only thing that the owner or manager needs to do is to activate the offers they would like to run and select their favourite designs.
Once this is done, the system looks after itself, working 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, providing the owners and staff with more time to run their business.
As well as sending automated offers, businesses can also promote their special events by following a few simple steps. They can create their own email design in the Campaign Builder tool by uploading their own images and writing a short message to their customers. They can send an email or SMS within minutes.
Another addition to the platform is the Web Terminal App, compatible with over 4,000 different mobile devices. Owners and managers can now log onto the system from anywhere by using their tablet or smartphone to redeem offers and add loyalty points for their customers.
With the new Management Portal, business owners can also easily monitor the statistics of a live campaign such as open and click-through rates and opt-outs. They can also view the most redeemed offers by one single click, gaining the insight to plan better for future campaigns.
