Global Brands is rolling out new Hooch bottle designs, featuring a limited edition lemon print sleeve, to bars across the UK.
Regarded as a 90s cult classic RTD, Hooch was reintroduced to the market in 2012. The refreshed 275ml bottle design features the “striking” yellow and black lemon print, made famous by the Hooch cans, alongside the signature fanged Hooch logo stamp.
The decision to trial the new design was made due to valuable consumer insight gathered earlier in 2018 when a sample of 1000 consumers fed back their thoughts on the current brand aesthetic.
Hooch brand controller Christian Sarginson said: “Our largest ever consumer research study showed that although our overall branding is still very much liked by fans, it was the vibrant can designs that ran out a clear favourite for our packaging.
“This new bottle gives us the perfect opportunity to harmonise design across more of our formats whilst also significantly improving fridge standout.
“Early signs have certainly been positive and if social media buzz is anything to go by our customers are also set to enjoy the benefits at the bar.”
