Revolution bars open in Aberdeen and Reading

Revolution Bars Group will open two new sites under the Revolución de Cuba brand in Aberdeen and Reading this month.

Revolución de Cuba Aberdeen will be located within the Academy Shopping Centre and is housed within a 5,200 square foot listed building. With Cuban-inspired interiors, the site includes an outdoor bandstand, Havana bar and a live music stage.

The Reading Revolución de Cuba will open on Friar Street on November 24. Spread across two floors, the 5,700 square foot site features a retractable roof and heated terrace on the first floor, which will be used year round.

Designer Julian Taylor has retained Revolución de Cuba’s colourful trademark features to reflect the Latin-inspired food and drink menus. Revolución de Cuba brand is driven by a Cuban-inspired premium proposition of rum cocktails, coupled with a Spanish/Mexican-based food menu and live Latin music and entertainment.

Mark McQuater, CEO of Revolution Bars Group said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing the Revolución de Cuba experience to Aberdeen and Reading. Our passion is to spread Cuba’s rich culture nationwide and we are pleased that vision continues to grow as we open more venues.”
