The New Inventive Bar Company has revamped the popular programme of master classes at its Revolution bars.

The 90-minute interactive sessions take consumers through the history, tools and skills of making cocktails and also allows them to get behind the bar to muddle, shake, stir and strain their way through a range of classic and original cocktails.

Priced from £30 per person, people receive a welcome cocktail and, alongside demonstrations by expert bartenders, can enjoy cocktails paired with canapés. Participants can also sample Revolution’s own hand-crafted flavoured vodka shots.

Customers can also opt to include a two- or three-course meal with their master class for £35 and £38 respectively.

The cocktail master class programme makes up a significant proportion of Revolution bars’ pre-booked revenue which is currently enjoying 16% year-on-year growth.

The operator has become the largest provider of cocktail master classes, which have been a key part of growing the group’s annual sales to £3.9million and attracting 150,000 customers a year.

Kate Eastwood, director of business development at The New Inventive Bar Company, said: “We’ve been running our cocktail master classes for four years now and to say they are hugely popular is an understatement.

“They’ve become a bit of an institution now with customers with many choosing to come back.

“As the UK’s leading provider of cocktail master classes, we are absolutely committed to providing our customers with the ultimate high-end experience, which will take our master classes to a level which cannot be rivalled.”

The Inventive Bar Company operates 71 high-end bars across the UK, from its core Revolution brand to its Cuban concept Revoluciὀn de Cuba and its Nightjar Bars business.
