Italian drinks producer S Pellegrino has unveiled its new Essenza range of canned, Mediterranean-flavoured sparkling waters.
The S Pellegrino Essenza collection comprises of three variants: Lemon & Lemon Zest, Tangerine & Strawberry and Dark Morello Cherry & Pomegranate.
Tapping into the growing consumer demand for healthier soft drink alternatives, the range is created with 100% natural ingredients, contains no artificial flavours, and claims to be calorie-free.
Available in 33cl can formats, the new sparkling waters are said to pair perfectly with food, and have been designed for the casual dining and food to go sectors, including pubs, bars, casual restaurants or coffee shops and cafés.
Huw Evans, Horeca lead at Nestlé Waters UK, which owns S Pellegrino, said: “The food to go sector is set to account for almost a quarter of total eating out spending within the next three years according to latest research from MCA, and we want to bring some sparkle to customers during their meal occasions.

S Pellegrino Essenza will be available in major UK wholesalers from June.
