To celebrate the birthday of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, a cocktail has been created by Salvatore Calabrese of Salvatore’s at the Playboy Club London.
The Hefner Cooler will be introduced at the London bar on Hefner’s 88th birthday on Wednesday (April 9) and made available at the club until the end of April.
The Hefner Cooler
40ml Bourbon
15ml Disaronno amaretto
15ml Lemon juice
30ml Pineapple juice
Diet Pepsi
Shake the first four ingredients and strain into a tall highball and then top up with Diet Pepsi. Garnish with a dry pineapple wedge, marinated cherry and mint sprig.
Salvatore’s Bar has also brought back its 5 O’Clocktails promotion. Any cocktail ordered between 5pm and 7pm on Mondays to Thursdays, excluding those made with vintage spirits, will come with a second free cocktail.
