Salvatore marks Thanksgiving with a Playboy punch

Thanksgiving Playboy PunchLegendary bartender Salvatore Calabrese has created a cocktail made with rye whiskey and cranberry sauce to celebrate American Thanksgiving.

At Salvatore’s bar at the Playboy Club London in Park Lane, he is offering the Thanksgiving Playboy Punch – served alongside a free slice of homemade pumpkin pie from the club’s executive chef Judy Joo.

Homemade American nibbles and canapés will be flowing from 5.30pm to 9pm this evening in Salvatore’s bar while the house pianist plays American classics. The Playboy Bunnies will be wearing bespoke stars and stripes outfits.

Thanksgiving Playboy Punch by Salvatore Calabrese
(recipe for 8 servings)

1 bottle Prosecco (or dry sparkling white wine)
20cl Wild Turkey rye whiskey
10cl Crème de framboise
50cl Cranberry juice
20cl Orange juice
2 large spoons of cranberry sauce
handful of fresh raspberries
handful of fresh cranberries
sprig of fresh mint
slices of fresh orange

Pour the whiskey, liqueur, juices and the cranberry sauce into a punch bowl. Stir well to dilute the cranberry sauce. Just before serving add ice, the fruits and the prosecco and gently stir.
