Distilled non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip has unveiled a month-long programme of Dry January-inspired events to welcome in 2019.
Partnerships include a Seedlip cocktail giveaway at over 40 leading bars in London with DrinkUp.London, pairing dinners with leading chefs and venues including The Clove Club, Angler, Kym’s by Andrew Wong and Mark Hix, alongside their pop-up shop and bar in Mayfair.
Through the activity, the brand sets out show that there’s more to a Dry January than sugary mocktails and lime & sodas.
Seedlip and DrinkUp.London will provide Londoners with an opportunity to explore the capital’s diverse cocktail bar scene and its innovative non-alcoholic cocktail offering.
From 2-31 January, through the DrinkUp.London app or website, consumers can download a voucher which entitles them to two complimentary Seedlip non-alcoholic cocktails at participating venues.
Over 40 bars are taking part including Coral Room at The Bloomsbury, Mandarin Oriental, Nightjar, Mint Gun Club and Behind This Wall.
On 22 January, Seedlip will co-host an intimate evening with renowned chef Mark Hix at his Kitchen Library above Tramshed.
The event will celebrate a collaboration between Seedlip and Hix which will see Seedlip cocktail menus launch at Mark’s Bar Soho and Bankside this month.
Guests can enjoy a masterclass on Seedlip spirits and pair them to Hix’s mini dishes of seasonal British produce. Pairings will include Polenta with woodland mushrooms being served with Booched, a cocktail mixing Seedlip Garden 108, topped with The Real Kombucha and garnished with a rosemary sprig, as well as Crispy squid with lime leaves, chilli and coconut being served alongside Pass the Buck, a combination of Seedlip Grove 42, clementine juice, lemon, honey and Fever-Tree soda.
Situated in a two-tiered space in Mayfair, the Seedlip General Store & Bar pop-up will be open throughout January.
The shop boasts an eclectic selection of items including Seedlip’s non-alcoholic spirits and cocktail book, home & barware and literary treasures.
Descending into the basement bar, Seedlip will be serving up a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails, including Seedlip’s NOgroni and hot toddies.
A full programme of innovative workshops and events will be running throughout the month including cocktail masterclasses, bartender takeovers, film screenings and more.
