Slug and Lettuce adds winter flavours to cocktails

winter warmerSlug and Lettuce bars across the country will be launching a new winter drinks menu this month alongside their core cocktail list.

Due to be introduced at the Stonegate Pub Company bars on November 18, the new mini menu features a cocktail called a Winter Warmer which, although it sounds like it should be a hot serve, is served cold with a little cap (pictured).

The North Bowl cocktail can be served as a single drink or, if ordered as a sharer, comes in a large Absolut punch bowl, while the Baileys Lux is packed full of Belgian chocolates and served in an elaborate glass.

Hot drinks will include a Winter Pimm’s and a Hot Blackberry and Elderflower Pimm’s, both of which are served in a glass teapot with a stylish red and white tea cosy.

Nicola Stuart, marketing manager for Slug and Lettuce, said: “Every quarter we create and introduce a new mini cocktail menu to ensure that our customers have a wide and varied choice of drinks available to them, usually with a seasonal theme.

“Our cocktails are one of the key drivers in our business and it’s a chance to showcase some innovative drinks and serves along with creating some fun for our customers.”
