Stonegate Pub Company has introduced a new food and drink menu across its Slug and Lettuce bars including a broader selection of lighter bites from around the globe.

Expanding its “Fast & Fresh’ signature menu, the new international choice of flavours includes Noodle Boxes in chicken or tofu varieties and ramen dishes available with chicken or vegetables.

They join popular dishes such as the Superfood Salad and BBQ Pulled Pork Burrito. The “Fast & Fresh” menu is available Tuesdays to Fridays until 4pm.

Other additions include a new children’s menu designed to offer dishes that are nutritious and healthy but which under-eights will still find delicious.

It ranges from burritos to southern-fried chicken wraps and feta cheese superfood salads to battered fish and chips. Every child dining will receive a bag a vegetable sticks to eat while they wait along with a colour-in menu.

The cocktail list has been updated, with a fresh line-up of classics, such as a Cosmopolitan, through to a Flat White Martini and the bars’ popular sharing Fizz Bowls.

Prosecco is now part of the “Wine Down Wednesday” offer, and the popular “two for one” offer on cocktails still stands all day, every day. Slug and Lettuce’s popular “Happy Mondays” promotion of 50% off food all day continues. “Fizz Friday” is also available, allowing customers to buy a bottle of prosecco for £12 and a Fizz Bowl for £16 until 10pm.

Samantha Manyard, head of marketing for Slug and Lettuce, said: “We’re constantly looking at ways to improve and develop our menu, and this latest update is an amplified take on everything that our customers loved from its original introduction earlier this year.

“We understand the need for a menu that offers something for all occasions and are confident that this offering – which includes options for everything from working breakfasts to after-work drinks and nights out – will mean that Slug and Lettuce continues to be the go-to place on the high street.”
