Social media added to bars’ View website listings

twitter logoBars, pubs, restaurants and clubs will be able to incorporate their Twitter feeds into their listings profiles on the nationwide View going-out websites.

Led by the flagship ViewLondon, it has been introduced to help operators enhance their venues’ exposure and encourage more interaction with existing and potential customers.

After London, 2View Group will roll out the social media package across all 21 city guides that come under the View umbrella this month.

View marketing manager Diederik Smet said: “We already offer great benefits with our free listings for a wide variety of businesses, events and retailers in our vibrant capital city including image galleries, direct links to businesses websites, offers and much more.

“By providing this unique new addition to listings we can help businesses to reach a huge audience and interact directly with their customers for free.”

View has also announced that venues currently paying for enhanced listings will be able to include their Facebook and Google+ feeds alongside their Twitter feeds, with no additional cost.

ViewLondon was established for London in 2000 and now covers everything happening in each city, from restaurants, bars and clubs to events, festivals and concerts.
