Spirit brand Freya collaborates with fashion designer Billie Jacobina

Fashion designer Billie Jacobina, whose avant-garde printed textile collection saw her named as one of Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch award winners last year, is collaborating with Freya, the world’s first spirit made from distilled birch sap.

Billie Jacobina’s Autumn/Winter 2017 collection will be unveiled on February 17 during a catwalk presentation at the Fashion Scout showcase, an international platform for the world’s top young designers to exhibit their talent during London Fashion Week. A specially commissioned Freya-inspired piece incorporates the brand’s tree bottle motif into the collection through traditional textile printing techniques.

Sustainably foraged in the forests of northern Europe, Freya is named in honour of the Norse goddess of love, beauty, fertility and sensuality. The collaboration is the first of its kind from drink innovators Pure Wild Spirits, who launched an entirely new category in 2016 with Freya. Freya was recently named number three in The Spirits Business’ Top 50 Innovative Spirit Launches of 2016.
