Still In Cask welcome drinks industry powerhouse, Stephanie Jordan to the team

Still In Cask, the global platform that gives consumers the opportunity to buy shares in a cask directly from distilleries, has welcomed the highly experienced entrepreneur Stephanie Jordan, co-founder of Avallen Spirits* and creative mind behind drinks consultancy Drinking Out Loud as a Non-Executive Director.

The innovative business, that has been developed to democratise the ownership of cask spirits through a public blockchain, has brought Jordan on board to drive awareness of Still In Cask and assist in scaling up the business to better connect technology, distillers, and drinkers on a global scale.

With a wealth of experience in the global drinks industry, working for global drinks giant Diageo, Stephanie took on the role of global brand ambassador for Tanqueray Gin, where she helped the iconic brand reach record sales before stepping back to her roots with Colombian rum brand La Hechicera as global sales and advocacy manager. Today she is the CEO of the world’s most planet positive spirits brand: Avallen.

Jordan comments: “As an entrepreneur myself I know how important it is to surround yourself with brilliant people that don’t look or sound like you so that you can have a bit bigger sense of perspective and variety of great ideas sprouting up from all sides. When the team at Still In Cask approached me I was really excited by the opportunity, as not unlike them I believe in the democratisation of cask sharing (especially whisky) but just as importantly I’m hugely curious about blockchain, web3 and getting more women involved in tech beyond just the drinks industry.”

Stephanie continues, “Essentially there is a gap in the market for a trustworthy & transparent platform to bring cask sharing to life for people who enjoy the delicious flavours vs. just speculating on price. The SIC team have come up with a simple, efficient, and user-friendly site connecting distillers to genuine drinkers looking beyond just collecting limited editions but to creating a fun exciting community around a cask.”

Liam Hirt, founder of Still in Cask commented “We are delighted to welcome Stephanie onboard, her wealth of experience in industry will be incredibly valuable as we work towards building a global community for both spirit enthusiasts and spirit producers.”
