Stonegate launches new drinks menus at late-night bars

Stonegate Pub Company is introducing new cocktails as part of a revamp of its drinks menus across its late-night bars and music venues.

At its music bars such as Flares and Reflex, the new cocktails include the Spiced Zombie – a combination of Bacardi Carta Blanca rum, Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, cranberry juice, orange juice and pineapple juice.

The new Passion Fruit Punch is a mix of Captain Morgan’s Dark Rum, Archers peach schnapps and mango, passion fruit and orange juices, while the Berry Bramble is a sparkling muddle of Gordon’s Gin, Chambord raspberry liqueur and lemonade. Old favourites such as Sex on the Beach and Cheeky V have been retained.

Alan Armstrong, head of marketing for the Venues Division at Stonegate Pub Company, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing some new additions to our menu following some great customer feedback on what they’d like to see more of.

“We also must remember though that we’re a brand all about party atmosphere and having fun and our customers still want to see classics available to buy when they’re letting their hair down at our venues.”

The bars are continuing with their #Partini promotion which asks regular customers to upload their pictures to the bars’ social sites using the hashtag, with the best in with a chance of winning free cocktails every month.

Stonegate Pub Company has also introduced new drinks menus at its 18 late-night venues, including Missoula bars, taking influences from the “trendy vibes” of Shoreditch combined with the natural ingredients of street food markets.

It includes a new specialist selection of beers and ciders from across the globe, including the newly stocked DeVasa Tropical lager from Brazil.

Customers can upgrade to a Boilermaker with the likes of Bulleit Bourbon or Tincup American whiskey – and, in a style popular in east London bars, they can sip their Bulleit Boilermaker straight out of a mini flask for an additional £5.

Flavours such as rhubarb, elderflower and passion fruit have been introduced to the drinks menu in time for summer including the fruity Lychee and Rhubarb Martini and the refreshing Blushing Mimosa.

For celebrations, the V6 Party Engine sees a bottle of premium spirit and Red Bull delivered straight to the table. The bars also have an increased range of prosecco including Mini Bottega Gold bottles.

Some of the late-night bars are also now offering dishes and snacks to share, such as the new Tapas Planks featuring a selection of Cumberland sausages and crispy breaded prawns.

The improved Burger Town has been developed with seasoned 6oz burgers served in an authentic double-glazed sesame seed burger bun. Customers can also enjoy a fresh hand-rolled burrito or a salt beef Reuben sub that promises to be “as good as Brick Lane”.

Alan said: “A lot of time and energy has been spent scouring street food markets and independent operators around the UK to pick out the key trends that meet the tastes of our customers.

“We know our clientele well and we know what inspires them and exactly what they’re after on a night out – we really do feel this new menu we’ve produced is one to be proud of.”

The late-night bars include Missoula in Durham, Solihull, Romford, London’s Piccadilly, Colchester, Chelmsford, Cardiff, Birmingham (pictured top) and Chester as well as Scotts in Bolton, Charles St in Brighton, Queens Court in Leeds, Luna in Croydon, Ark in Manchester, Edwards in Wimbledon, Edwards in Peterborough, Home in Doncaster and Label in Newcastle upon Tyne.
