CG Restaurants & Bars has announced a 16.4% increase in like-for-like sales across its expanding bar group Dirty Martini.
The company, which operates seven Dirty Martini bars around London, said the result was driven by an “outstanding” 35% increase in pre-booked business across December, representing 61% of overall sales.
It puts CG Restaurants & Bars in a good position for future expansion, with plans for new Dirty Martinis in London and other parts of the country. Last year, it opened bars in Islington and Clapham (pictured).
Chief executive Scott Matthews said: “We’re delighted to announce an outstanding performance for Dirty Martini over the December period.
“Our new sites are outperforming expectations and our original Dirty Martini in Covent Garden continues to deliver excellent growth every year with its strongest-ever New Year’s Eve performance in 2015.
“Our successful expansion in 2015 with two new sites opening in Clapham and Islington has proved there is a continued appetite for the Dirty Martini brand and early discussions are under way on new acquisitions for 2016, both in London and regionally.”
