Carlsberg UK’s historic beer brand Joshua Tetley & Son is launching its first range of bottled ales in four years.
Tetley’s Golden Ale and Tetley’s No 3 Pale Ale will be made available to the on-trade and off-trade in 500ml bottles.
Launched in May this year, Tetley’s No 3 Pale Ale, with an ABV of 4.2%, has been exclusively brewed in its original heartland of Leeds, and is said to provide a “unique taste of the 19th century” with a recipe inspired by the original Pale Ale brewed over 150 years ago.
At 4% ABV, Tetley’s Golden Ale is described as a contemporary blonde ale which “blends cutting edge hop varieties to create a sprightly thirst-quenching citrus beer”.
Emily Hudson, brand manager for Tetley’s, said: “We are thrilled to launch No 3 Pale Ale and Golden Ale in bottle formats for the first time.
“Earlier this year, alongside the new No 3 Pale Ale, we also rolled out a new visual identity for the whole Tetley’s portfolio, so it is fair to say that 2018 really has marked an exciting new chapter for the brand.
“We look forward to seeing how consumers receive the new formats and the freedom of choice in being able to enjoy the brews in this way.”
