TGI Fridays is on course to create 85 new jobs when it opens its latest new restaurant and bar in Brighton Marina in July.

Alongside seating for up to 160 guests, it will feature a square standalone island bar where bartenders will show off their skills and make drinks from the 100-strong cocktail menu.

The new site will feature a second focal point in the form of an “island” kitchen, allowing guests to see their food prepared and flame-grilled before their eyes.

The décor will be inspired by a “New York meets Brighton” theme with graffiti and seaside memorabilia.

With the new TGI Fridays due to open on July 13, two recruitment days are being held on June 14 and 15. To register or to find out more, visit or send CVs to Closing date for applications is June 13.

David Carroll, property director for TGI Fridays UK, said: “It has been a long time coming but we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Fridays will be opening in Brighton Marina.

“We’ve known for a long time that there is huge demand for us to bring our legendary style of American food, drink and atmosphere to the seaside city, so we are expecting a busy and exciting opening and can’t wait to bring a taste of Fridays to the coastal community.

“We’re also really pleased to be bringing a significant jobs boost to the area and looking forward to meeting potential team members and selecting the right people to come and start or further their hospitality careers with us.”
