The Access Group’s top tips for maximising Christmas reservations

The Access Group Christmas

Nick Telson, founder of DesignMyNight, which now forms part of the Access Group, gives his top tips to bars on delivering a positive festive period.

The Christmas season is a fundamental trading time for the hospitality industry – December results can often make or break a year. Operators faced with the challenges the festive season can present don’t necessarily appreciate the impact a robust reservations and enquiry management system can have on helping manage the stress of Christmas.

Access Collins developed a solutions that had this as the starting foundation. Operators are increasing pre-booked guests by up to 56% with The Access Group.

Nick said: “If we could develop a system to cope with December, then it could cope with the rest of the year too! Now with clients across the bar, pub and casual dining sector including Wahaca, Mitchells & Butler, Polpo, Young’s, Fullers and Casual Dining Group we have seen Access Collins evolve and be used in many ways to always achieve outstanding results.”

“The use of Collins has definitely helped improve our overall guest experience, eliminating complaints and generating a higher increase in conversion of pre-booked and pre-paid revenue,” says the sales manager at Be At One.

“We especially saw this during the Christmas period, with an overall increase of 56% in pre-booked guests compared to last year, which I believe Collins hugely contributed towards achieving. We are thrilled!”
