The Blind Pig creates ‘Greatest Hits’ menu

5-a-Day at The Blind Pig

Jason Atherton’s flagship bar The Blind Pig has revealed a new ‘Greatest Hits’ menu in dedication to venue’s most celebrated cocktails.

The list comprises of eleven cocktails spanning the speakeasy’s last seven years, and includes old favourites from the ‘Long and Short Tails’ menu, which takes its inspiration from the nation’s bestselling children’s books, as well as appearances of classics from the bar’s first ever list.

Drinks include The Very Hungry Caterpillar inspired 5-a-Day (pictured above), featuring Patrón tequila, lime cordial, Sekford’s Tequila mixer and ice made from the five fruits from the story (apple, strawberry, pear, orange and plum). The cocktail is served in a Highball glass and is garnished with a gummy caterpillar sweet.

Other serves come in the form of Dill or No Dill, which combines Martin Miller’s gin, cucumber, lemon, dill, elderflower and smoked salt, and The Kindergarten Cup, with Ketel One Vodka, Skittles, Aperol, egg white, lemon and Wham bar syrup, served in a glass teacup alongside a handful of Skittles sweets.

The menu features playful artwork by illustrator Masha Karpushina, which “capture the essence” of different elements on the list.
