London’s Bloomsbury Club Bar has appointed UK World Class finalist Scott Gavin as its new bar manager.

Scott brings with him over ten years of international experience in the industry, having worked across high-end hotels and independent cocktail bars.

Originally from London, Scott began his career in 2006 at Twentytwo in Malta. Having honed his techniques, in 2012 he moved back to the UK to take up the position of head bartender at the Limewood Hotel in Hampshire before spending two years as senior bartender at Scarfes Bar at the Rosewood London.

Scott then progressed to his first managerial role at industry haunt, Nola. Here, he relaunched the bar’s image before working alongside Tom Kerridge on an array of different projects, consulting both locally and internationally.

Scott said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team. The Bloomsbury Club Bar has been really innovative in the way they work with brands and other bars across the world.

“This position will be a new challenge for me and I’m excited to help continue raising the profile of the bar in London and worldwide.”
