The Boom Boom Bar bursts onto the scene in Windsor

A high-profile site in Windsor in Berkshire has been reborn as The Boom Boom Bar thanks to entrepreneur Vik Maharaj (pictured). He has invested a six-figure sum in converting the former site of Cuba in The Arches in Goswell Street – under Windsor & Eton Central station – into a venue of “glamorous decadence”, with sumptuous seating and opulent feature walls.

At the entrance is a space for enjoying classic cocktails to a soundtrack of chilled-out and modern music. As the evening shifts up tempo, the party moves through to the arched area where clubbers can dance to live DJs. This adaptable space features lavish VIP booths, a second bar and eye-catching design features. Options include an exclusive 16-seater booth high above the crowd with VIP service.

Vik said: “Windsor was an easy choice for us. It’s a vibrant and popular place to party and we wanted to bring something new and fresh to the scene. Our DJs will be infusing trip hop, hip hop, R&B and pop, pushing the variety with a host of invited influential artists known amongst club-goers.

“The new team at the venue are supported by the well-known door team who worked with the previous venue that operated on the site. They know the area, know how to look after our customers and are an asset to the business as we start our new venture.

“The Boom Boom Bar is the start of something new and exciting and together with the other operators in the area we have a vision to transform The Arches into a remarkable hub of day-to-night activity that it really has the potential to become.”
