The Craft Beer Co expands to open fifth bar

Craft Beer Co ClerkenwellRoll-out of The Craft Beer Co bars is to reach five sites with the opening next month of the company’s fifth site in Clapham, south London.

It is turning the former Manor Arms pub in Clapham Manor Street into a craft beer bar offering over 30 beers on draught plus more craft beers from around the world in bottles.

For food, it is partnering pop-up Forty Burgers which, from the kitchen upstairs, will provide burgers seven days a week. Opening on December 7, it will trade till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

The interior is being stripped back to original features alongside more contemporary touches, with bare brickwork, wood and a fireplace plus a beer garden outside.

The Craft Beer Co was formed in 2011 by Martin Hayes with the launch of his first bar in Clerkenwell, north London (pictured). The concept has now been rolled out to Brighton and Islington and Brixton in London.
