The Drinks Trust is calling on the drinks industry to unite on Friday 2nd October 2026 for Face It Together Day, as the charity marks 140 years of supporting people across the sector through times of hardship and uncertainty.
Businesses, brands and individuals across the drinks industry are being encouraged to come together on social media for this year’s Face It Together Day, helping to raise awareness of the support available through The Drinks Trust and ensuring that more people know where to turn when they need help.
The campaign has added significance in 2026, as The Drinks Trust celebrates its 140th anniversary. Founded in 1886, the charity has been there for generations of people working across the drinks industry, providing support through periods of financial hardship, personal difficulty, uncertainty and change.
Today, The Drinks Trust offers a range of support designed to help people across the industry navigate difficult times, including financial assistance, emotional and wellbeing support, specialist advice, and opportunities for training and professional development.
Face It Together Day will harness the collective voice and reach of the drinks industry to make that support more visible. By sharing campaign messages and creative assets across social media on 2nd October, participants can help colleagues, friends and industry peers recognise that support is available and reinforce a simple but important message: no one in our industry should have to face difficult times alone.
For 140 years, The Drinks Trust has been there for people across our industry when they have needed us most.
Nicky Burston, CEO of The Drinks Trust, said: “For 140 years, The Drinks Trust has been there for people across our industry when they have needed us most. Face It Together Day is a wonderful opportunity for the whole drinks community to come together and help make sure people know that support is there for them. Whether you are a business, a brand or an individual, taking part can make a real difference. A simple post, conversation or share could help someone recognise that they are not alone and that there is somewhere they can turn. As we celebrate 140 years of service, we want to look forward as well as back continuing to build an industry where people look out for one another and face challenges together.”
Together through every challenge, since 1886.
