Norfolk-based distiller The English Whisky Co has added two new whisky and fruit liqueurs to its portfolio.

The Norfolk Quince Whisky Liqueur and The Norfolk Redcurrant Whisky Liqueur combine hand-distilled English single malts and traditional, lesser-known British fruits.

Described as rich and fruity, The Norfolk Redcurrant Whisky Liqueur mixes redcurrants with The English Whisky Co’s own single malt, and is recommended served with tonic water.

The second variant, The Norfolk Quince Whisky Liqueur, is a “zesty blend” of quince juice, The English Whisky Co’s own single malt and a dash of sugar. It is said to pair perfectly over ice with ginger beer and a sprig of fresh mint.

Katy Nelstrop, co-founder of The English Whisky Co, said: “We are very excited to launch these two new liqueurs, which bring new innovation to a sector which is often quite stagnant.

“Whisky makes the perfect base for a delicious liqueur and we’ve chosen fruits that blend really well to create a delicious, sweet and satisfying drink. They are also fantastic as a base for cocktails.”
